Plant Manager Houston [JOB POSTING]

$175,000-195,000 per year + Bonus

The Plant Manager will be customer service oriented to the business’s internal and external customers. For the Plant Manager to be effective, they must have a proven track record of lean processes and driving continuous improvements. Successful candidates will have experience with one or more of the following electrical equipment, substations, switchgear, or transformers.

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed operational targets to meet delivery dates.
• Profit and Loss management
• Train and hire floor staff
• Factory Operations
• Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance
• Create best practices to ensure lean six sigma and efficiencies
• Must be able to think critically and be a problem solver

In addition, ideally, they will be capable to lead more strategic initiatives, including:

• Strategic plan to increase profits
• Customer relations and development

Requirements for the position:

• B.S. Degree in a technical field or relevant experience
• Five or more years of manufacturing experience
• Previous management experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00 to $195,000.00 /year

Experience:

• manufacturing: 8 or more years (Preferred)
