Plant Manager Detroit [JOB POSTING]

$120,000 – $145,000 a year

The Plant Manager will be customer service oriented to both the internal and external customers of the business. In order for the Plant Manager to be effective, they must have a proven track record of lean processes and driving continuous improvements. Successful candidates will have experience with one or more of the following electrical equipment, substations, switchgear, or transformers.

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed operational targets to meet delivery dates.
• Profit and Loss management
• Train and hire floor staff
• Factory Operations
• Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance
• Create best practices to ensure lean six sigma and efficiencies
• Must be able to critically think and be a problem solver

In addition, ideally, they will be capable to lead more strategic initiatives to include:

• Strategic plan to increase profits
• Customer relations and development

Requirements for the position:

• B.S. Degree in a technical field or relevant experience
• Five or more years of manufacturing experience
• Previous management experience in a manufacturing environment

Salary: $120,000.00 to $145,000.00 /year
